Grooved Butterfly Valve – Pneumatic Actuator

Grooved Butterfly Valves with pneumatic actuators are available in sizes 2″, 3″, 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, and 12″. They are constructed with a ductile iron body and a ductile iron disc, which is lined with EPDM for dependable sealing and durability. These valves are rated for Class 150 pressure and are designed to operate efficiently across a temperature range of -15°C to 110°C, making them suitable for a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications.

The double-acting pneumatic actuator operates within a pressure range of 2.5 to 8 bar, ensuring reliable and consistent performance. The grooved design provides easy and secure installation, enabling quick assembly and disassembly in systems where maintenance or flexibility is required.

Upon special request, a variety of actuator types can also be provided. Options include air single-acting spring return and electric actuators, offering customized solutions to meet specific operational requirements. For manual valves, a hand wheel can be selected instead of the standard 10-position hand lever, offering additional convenience and operational flexibility.

Upon special request, alternate liner materials such as Silicone, Viton, and others can be provided to meet specific environmental and operational needs. This ensures compatibility with applications involving higher temperatures or chemically aggressive media.

Upon special request, the body and disc materials can also be upgraded to SS304 or SS316 stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance. This makes the valves particularly suited for applications in harsh or corrosive environments, ensuring extended durability and performance.
