Lugged Butterfly Valve – Pneumatic Actuator

Lugged Butterfly Valves with pneumatic actuators are available in sizes 2″, 3″, 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, and 12″. They are built with a ductile iron body and disc for durability, an EPDM seat for a reliable seal, and are rated for Class 150 pressure. These valves operate efficiently across a temperature range of -15°C to 110°C, making them suitable for various industrial applications.

The double-acting pneumatic actuator functions within a pressure range of 2.5 to 8 bar, ensuring consistent and responsive operation. The lugged design allows for secure installation and supports both dead-end service and bi-directional flow.

Upon special request, a variety of actuator types can also be provided. Options include air single-acting spring return and electric actuators, allowing for customized solutions based on specific control requirements and operational needs. For manual valves, a hand wheel can be selected instead of the standard 10-position hand lever, providing additional flexibility and convenience based on user preference.

Upon special request, alternate seat materials such as Silicone, Viton, and others can be provided to accommodate specific operational requirements and environmental conditions. This option ensures enhanced compatibility for applications involving higher temperatures or more chemically aggressive media.

Upon special request, the valve’s body and disc materials can be upgraded to SS304 or SS316 stainless steel for ultimate corrosion resistance. This makes the valves particularly suitable for use in highly corrosive environments or applications requiring superior durability and longevity.
